1. About HomecareMatches
HomecareMatches is a matching and referral platform. We help families describe their home-care needs and connect them with independent, verified home-care agencies in our network. HomecareMatches is not a home-care agency, does not employ caregivers, and does not provide clinical, nursing, or medical care. All care is delivered by the matched agency under its own terms.
2. Our role
HomecareMatches collects the information you provide, reviews your request, and works to match you with a verified agency that has an available caregiver suited to your needs. The matched agency is solely responsible for assessments, care plans, service agreements, caregiver conduct, scheduling, billing, and the delivery of care.
3. No guarantee of a match
We work hard to find a suitable match, but we cannot guarantee that an agency or caregiver will be available for every request, region, schedule, or budget. If we are unable to find a match, a HomecareMatches specialist will let you know.
4. Free day of care
Where offered, the complimentary care day (up to 8 hours), earned after the first 5 days of service, is provided at the discretion of and subject to the terms of the matched home-care agency. HomecareMatches does not set or guarantee agency pricing.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, to treat matched caregivers and agency staff respectfully, and to resolve care, billing, and scheduling matters directly with your matched agency. You must be legally authorized to arrange care for the care recipient.
6. Information sharing
By submitting a request you authorize HomecareMatches to share the details of your request with one or more matched home-care agencies so they may contact you to arrange care. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. No medical advice
Nothing in the app constitutes medical advice. For medical emergencies call 911. For clinical questions, consult a licensed healthcare professional or your matched agency's nurse.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HomecareMatches is not liable for the acts, omissions, quality of care, or conduct of any matched agency or caregiver. Your use of the platform is at your own risk.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
